Transition to the 5G Network<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Andreas Kristensson, Sales Manager at Telenor, notes that we have witnessed several major technological revolutions over the past 15 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Before that, everyone had fixed telephone exchanges. Then came cloud exchanges, and within a few years, the entire telecommunications market changed fundamentally. Another revolution occurred when cloud services emerged, and the entire server market disappeared.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kristensson notes that we are now at the beginning of a new revolution \u2013 or rather, an evolution \u2013 in which a shift from fixed networks to the 5G network has begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Today, networks are as complex as they were in the 90s. You need to run lots of cables and have numerous access points in the ceiling \u2013 while our work behavior and methods have changed.
